JOB SUMMARY:  Under the general supervision of the Specialty Courts Administrator/Program Supervisor, the Grant Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing implementation of a SAMHSA grant. The Grant Coordinator will provide daily oversight of projects and grants. This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the project activities, internal and external coordination, developing materials, and conducting meetings.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are normal for this position.  These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.
 
  1. Provide leadership to support the success of a variety of collaborative teams that include court staff, governmental agency partners, and community agency partners.
  2. Monitor grant program to endure compliance with contract provisions and funding source regulations
  3. Disseminate program information to targeted audiences including staff, system partners, funders, and the general public.
  4. Ensure open communication and accurate record-keeping of meetings and program policies.
  5. Responsible for the oversight of SAMHSA Project; assure program goals, objectives, activities are met at specified stages in timeline; monitor budget and purchases and work with leadership to submit budget modifications that may be needed; and review partners training and activities.
  6. Collect and report certain data so that SAMHSA can meet its obligations under the Government Performance and Results (GPRA) Modernization Act.
  7. Organize team training to build proficiencies.
  8. Attend statewide and national conferences and present at conferences as required.
  9. Compile and maintain statistical information for grant reporting and evaluation.
  10. Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Master’s degree preferred (e.g. criminal justice, social work, counseling, behavioral health, etc.) At least two years of related experience required. Project management/grant management experience preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
The individual in this position is an at-will employee.  Must adhere to the Court’s Model Code of Conduct for Judicial Branch Employees.  Employment is dependent on background check, criminal history and fingerprint check, and drug screen.  Applicant must complete County application form.

WORK LOCATION AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects weighing five to twenty-five pounds.
